Installation & Getting Started
I graduated with a degree in German and Business from Warwick University and spent the next 6 years gaining commercial experience in various technical settings. Working in bilingual roles in industries such as materials handling and data storage, my love of all things technical and the use of my language skills have been constant. I turned to full-time freelance translation in 2008.

Times of Operation
My core working hours are
09:00 – 15:00 GMT/BST,
with additional (minimum) coverage between
15:00 – 17:00.
During working hours, I endeavour to respond within one hour. Clients will always receive an auto-response if I’m out of the office.
Numerical aspects
I usually charge by the source word and will send an accurate quote before confirming any project.
In addition, charges may apply for rush jobs or unsociable hours.
A minimum charge applies to all projects.

To ensure I do this, I attend courses, immerse myself in source and target language resources and read widely in my chosen specialist fields.
In addition, I have developed a great network of professionals in various areas to consult on technical terminology if necessary.
